It’s Always Darkest Before the Dawn

My story is complicated. It has been filled with triumphs and tragedy, tears and laughter, sorrow and joy. I share my experiences and thoughts with others in the hopes that people would find encouragement or possibly even camaraderie in their own journeys. I believe that the combination of our passion, experiences and gifts define our purpose, so I am here to explore mine and inspire others to do the same.

However, I offer one IMPORTANT disclaimer: I do not have anything figured out. I am strictly a fellow sojourner trying to process life and do my best like everyone else. So, if you are looking for advice, insights or encouragement from a perfect person… I will defer you to the Bible.

My Journey with Midge

The Choice is Yours

A true pioneer woman with an infectious laugh and smile.  Classy to the core. However, you were never shy to speak your mind or stand behind your values. You had a relentless enthusiasm for life. Traveled the world. You had friends and ...

How Grief Is Changing Me

I no longer have the emotional capacity for bull shit. It’s true. Your emotions are exhausted. The capacity to deal with drama, pettiness, negative people, or unhealthy situations diminishes. Your doing your best to just stay afloat so y...
